Content:

Today, projects inevitably compete for resources and have complex content and time dependencies.

This has given rise to management tasks that require a holistic view of a company's project landscape. The Technical Universities of Darmstadt and Berlin are researching the critical success factors of project landscape management in close cooperation with practitioners. For 20 years, the research group Multi-Project Management (MPM) of Professors Alexander Kock (TU Darmstadt) and Hans Georg Gemünden (TU Berlin) has been collecting data on best practices and success factors in project portfolio management within the framework of regular benchmarking studies. More than 700 companies have participated in these studies over the years. The results from the 10th Edition of the MPM study are presented and combined with insights into how a Danish company utilizes the research results.
